We work with people who want to get better at what they do in a business / organisational setting in order to improve performance.
This might look like:
A front line manager, under pressure to meet demanding targets, with limited resources, operating in conditions where "things go wrong" a lot of the time and people are ready to assign blame quickly
A CEO trying to build alignment with their leadership team, getting the balance right between starting new initiatives while ensuring existing ones are being delivered properly and contributing to the strategic goals of the organisation
A middle/senior manager, new in role or establishing a new function, developing a focused set of goals and plans that are achievable with resources available, while managing expectations and delivering quick wins
A solo professional / freelancer who is trying to get the balance right between creating a pipeline of new work, delivering on existing client commitments and building the capacity & capabilities to deliver new services in future
An entrepreneur navigating the rapids of raising finance, building a team, developing a product, handling demanding relationships with investors and business partners and managing their personal productivity and wellbeing along the way
A non-profit board director seeking to provide more coaching support to a new executive team to enable higher levels of individual and team performance
Being in one of these situations can be challenging and scary. It can often feel like you don't have someone you can turn to who is independent, calm, objective and has sufficient knowledge of the situational dynamics to be helpful.
To help, we:
Meet with our clients regularly, in a format / location that works for them
Focus on building trust and a safe space to work through difficult issues
Listen intently, to get the fullest picture possible
Ask probing questions to help them think through the critical factors
Provide feedback, both reinforcing and challenging where required
Offer insights / suggestions / ideas where appropriate
Provide a sounding board (e.g. on topics like clarity of goals, priority, sequencing, suitability of performance measures, ...)
Transfer relevant skills & capabilities to our clients (e.g. visual management, problem solving, productivity improvement, ...)
Help our clients in the implementation of performance management processes (e.g. goal setting, development of action plans and measures, tracking and review mechanisms)
